Necessity is the mother of invention

It is. I have told myself and any other would be inventors to quit hoping they will come up with a killer idea and just pray they stumble upon a great problem.

Answers are mostly already pre-formed but in parts laying around our minds and a good problem causes the parts to fall in place. We both give ourselves too much credit for that "ah ha!" moment and too much false stress trying to induce our next one.

If this is not fun, I will abandon it. My approach comes from an attitude that the father of invention is enjoyment. I imitate my boy Dan in blogging hacks and novel feats of make-do...he is a natural. But I do McGuyver my way out difficulties too now and then so let me show you a few...
